Simeon and Norah. 

Both cute. Our friends Tim and Christine had little Simmy about a month after we had Norah. It is fun to watch them both change and develop characters.

Norah has developed the habit of sucking on her bottom lip. See picture above. She and her dad are good friends. Norah Belle will be FOUR months old tomorrow! Wow! About two weeks ago she started sleeping in her own room and sleeping through the night. Occasionally she will wake up at random times, 11PM, 5AM. But for the most part she sleeps and sleeps. 

She is fun. Very enjoyable for us to watch her grow.

Half Marathon

Brian's first half-marathon. Yes, he has run a few ultra marathons and even a 24 hour race...but never a half. Last Sunday, he did just that!

Here he is at the finish line! 1 hour and 45 minutes of hard running. On his birthday even. Happy 29th Brian! Norah and I are proud of you!

Calvin and Norah

My best friend, Sarah, was pregnant the same time I was. She was due a week after me. But, because Norah wanted to stew a bit longer than her due date, Calvin came first. Born on Sept 26th, he is a week and a day older than Norah. 

Here is their first meeting. Calvin 2 1/2 weeks old and Norah 1 1/2 weeks. Not too exciting yet!

Second meeting was a bit more eventful. Here they are again! Calvin 10 1/2 weeks, Norah 9 1/2 weeks.

Today we got together again to celebrate our friend's birthday, Darla.

They are growing! Bigger and bigger!

Calvin is now 16 1/2 weeks old and Norah 15 1/2 weeks old. Almost four months old!

 Soon they will start playing together. For now they just stare back at us, wondering, "what are they doing staring at us like that?"

Back to Work

I (Wendy) go back to work tomorrow. I've had a delightful 14 weeks off. That means Norah is 14 weeks old! Wow, where did the time go?? 

I won't lie, it wasn't all delightful. There were hard days, tired days, crabby days, boring days. But, being with Norah and watching her has been the most delightful and wonderful experience for both Brian and I. She is so much fun to be with. Her laughs and smiles, cooing, blowing bubbles with her spit, and sweet disposition. 

While at work a variety of people will care for Norah. Brian will hang out with her on Monday's and Tuesday's. My mom (see above) will do Saturdays and then anyone else who is around and available (Grandma Karen) will be more than welcome to spend time with Norah. 

Hopefully I can snag a part time position sometime soon so I only have to work two days a week. That would make me happy.

I'm three months old!

Gingerbread Houses and Sushi

Our first annual Gingerbread house and sushi party! Fun to start new traditions and we have just created one this year. 

My mom and I made enough gingerbread houses for everyone ahead of time, then bought candy, candy and more candy. Oh and the royal icing! Here is Hailey working on her masterpiece. See the picture below of her AWESOME house.

Well, I said sushi, but don't have any pictures of it. But we made a ton and ate every bit!

More Babies!

Tim and Chris have four boys now! Zane, Owen and Ezra along with Simeon. 

Why not another picture of Norah! She is almost 2 and 1/2 pictures in this picture. 

Norah and I went to four Christmas parties one weekend. she wore her beautiful Christmas dress more than once!
