Brian and I are getting quite familiar with Moscow. On our way back to Nizhny from Jerusalem, we stopped by and picked Karen up at the airport. Well, we had it all planned that way. She flew in from the states a few hours before we did so we could show her some sights and enjoy her company.
Wandering around the Kremlin
Red Square
Cathedral of Christ the Saviour
A massive monument to the war of 1812 against Napoleon and the French.
WWII Museum and the Hall of Glory.
Don't forget...the Olympics are in Russia 2014!
Our hostel just happened to be in the same doorway as the Torture Museum...
My My, pronounced "Moo Moo" is a little cafe to get some Russian food.
After staying at the torture museum, Karen treated us to the Hilton for a night. It was awesome.
Brian's tasty meal at a random, gaudy restaurant.
Our lovely hotel, complete with a pool, sauna, and gym (we enjoyed all three).
Karen in the lobby of our hotel. Coffee time!
No, we aren't heavy drinkers...I promise. Biggest "can" of beer ever?
